Under the U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) study and concept contract for a Joint Mobilization Processing System (JMPS), IDEAMATICS recently delivered its final report on the identification of all of the U.S. Armed Services authoritative data systems for personnel and readiness data and the barriers to acquiring the approved access to the USJFCOM desired data sets in those systems. Successful completion of the contract also required the design, development and delivery of a working prototype web-based system that could access the desired data without modification of the existing Service systems. Despite the lack of access to the Services’ authoritative data systems, IDEAMATICS met the contract objectives by delivering a working prototype of a web-based system that demonstrated the use of web services to access each of the Service systems and data sets. The entire project was delivered on time and on budget.
