Web Applications and Systems

Our Role with Web Applications and Systems

Web Applications and Systems is a software using a web browser to support organizational features or processes. These systems consists of an integration of computer hardware, software, networks, databases, and people collecting, storing and processing information.

IDEAMATICS, Inc. experience with Web Applications and Systems includes the development of HTTP front-ends for .NET Frameworks 1.0 to 4.0 for both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard. We have extensive experience in writing ASP.NET applications using VB.NET which are scalable for small or large numbers of concurrent users. Our front-ends are performance-optimized for quick load times and designed for ease-of-use using Microsoft Visual Studio Team System 2010. We practice thorough in-line commenting in code as required by our internal development standards, so that any developer can understand the intent of our code. IDEAMATICS, Inc. maintains a complete library of current development licenses to allow our developers to immediately begin work on new projects.

Our Projects with Web Applications and Systems

IDEAMATICS has many years of expertise with Web Applications and Systems. We have developed web applications that employ reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services, Business Objects and custom-built ad-hoc tools. Our U.S. Navy application currently integrates with Crystal Reports to enable users to display a selected report using selection criteria entered by the user within the web application. Our custom-built ad-hoc reporting tools allow for powerful queries against selected database tables that can be displayed through HTTP or exported to Excel or a comma-delimited file. The U.S. Coast Guard uses our MRTT application to generate reports with SQL Reporting Services to meet instant communication needs for emergency operations such as Hurricane Ike, Hurricane Sandy, and the Haiti Earthquake disaster response.

Other projects include developing HTTP front-ends for .NET Frameworks 1.0 to 4.0 for both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard. The Navy-Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System (NMCMPS) is a Web-based solution that streamlines the mobilization of reserve forces, captures mobilization-related data in a single system, and provides all stakeholders with end-to-end visibility into the process. This solution also centralizes and automates the generation of written mobilization orders, removing this burden from local reserve activities and eliminating the potential for manual errors. "NMCMPS aids key Navy leaders at every level as a simple, one-stop solution that aids in the mobilization and management of Naval Reserve personnel," according to Dr. David Danner, President of IDEAMATICS, Inc.  "U.S. Navy organizations can monitor the status of reservists that are mobilizing to their commands, access information on their current whereabouts and even view a reservist's mobilization orders by employing the NMCMPS as a key enabling system."
