The U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Systems Command has selected InfoReliance, a leading information technology (IT) consulting firm to provide support for the Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System (MCMPS) that helps the USMC to manage critical manpower and mobilization processes for the Total Force.
InfoReliance has partnered with IDEAMATICS Inc., the company who developed the original MCMPS system in 1994.
MCMPS allows the USMC’s Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA) department to properly plan, budget for, and manage its manpower requirements through the identification, selection and tracking of individual augmentees.
“With our InfoReliance and IDEAMATICS team, the Marine Corps gets the institutional knowledge they have enjoyed for over twenty years with the innovation and expertise to ensure that this critical system gets the right Marine, to the right place, at the right time,” states Joseph Zimmerman, InfoReliance Vice President, Department of Defense Sector.
IDEAMATICS’ efforts for this project complement efforts for MCMPS’ sister application, the U.S. Navy’s Navy-Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System (NMCMPS). IDEAMATICS is intimately familiar with the USMC mobilization processes and the models and systems which support the manpower mobilization assignment system efforts, and exhibit our devotion to helping the USMC manage its manpower resources during times of crisis and peace.
